Help with a 15th birthday mini party?
So my birthday is the day after Christmas and I've never had a birthday party before. I really want to go to a restaurant with some of my friends, like the Cheesecake Factory.. but I know its expensive. And even though my parents could pick up the tab.. I don't want to make them do that, but then another part of me says, "hey, it IS your birthday!" aghh. I don't know what to do. haha.
And one more question, if I did go to a restaurant with my friends.. Honestly, I wouldn't want my parents there and they wouldn't want to be there. But once again, making them drive me there and then drive back to find a 150+ bill doesn't seem fair to them.
Can someone help me out and tell me if I'm being rational or not?

Invite a group of your close friends over. Have them dress nice/ semi-formal, and then decorate your dining room kinda fancy or whatever you want. Order different sides and dishes from the Cheesecake Factory and set it up buffet style. It's a lot easier and a little more cheaper
